Welcome to Plagiarism Detector (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.
The primary data we collect is the text you submit for plagiarism checking ("Submitted Text"). We may also collect technical information automatically when you use our Service, such as your IP address (for rate limiting and security purposes), browser type, operating system, and usage patterns (e.g., features used, time spent on site). We may use cookies to enhance your user experience, for example, to remember your preferences.
Plagiarism Detector uses the collected data for various purposes:
Your Submitted Text is used solely for the purpose of performing the plagiarism check. We do not store your Submitted Text permanently after the check is complete, nor do we use it for any other purpose or share it with third parties, other than the Google Custom Search API as necessary to perform the plagiarism detection. Usage data and technical information are used to improve the Service's performance, security, and user experience.
We may use third-party Service Providers to monitor and analyze the use of our Service, and to display advertisements to help support and maintain our Service. Our primary advertising partner is Google AdSense.
Google AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can direct users to opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices.
Please review Google's Privacy Policy for more information on how they collect and use data: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

However, please remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
